Trend Alert: Hammer Pants?

Sooo.. I'm sure you all noticed Naomi's hammer pants at the CFDA. But I thought, hey, it's vintage, and she's doing YSL, so I went along with it. Then I saw Ashley Olsen wearing similar pants at the same event. But I totally love this Calvin Klein design:

And now, I see Maggie G wearing them a few days later?? And you guys may not agree, but I actually like this look too! The shoes sell it for me. I can't wait to get my hands on a new pair of gladiator shoes. But I'm waiting until I see a really hot pair that I would like give my first born for. I don't want to share my secret, but.. Nine West, hello. Ok it wasn't a big secret, but that's why I'm hesistating on those bad boys. :)

But back to the issue at hand. Am I really endorsing hammer pants? I think I might be. I also might be really tired. You let me know. But to strengthen my case, these have been seen on a model, a socialite, AND an actress. I'm just saying..
